Hunt A+ Elementary’s school wide project after studying visual artist, Maya Lin was to create a wall of names that commemorate the identity of Hunt’s school community.
Maya Lin is well known for her design of the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, D.C. Her belief that names represent a person’s identity and spirit inspired us to create a piece that does the same for our school. Students and staff are proud to find their names and be represented as part of the Hunt community.
